It's time for a long (he he he, long) hard (he he he hard) look at the Bevis and Butthead of Transformers, as they kick off 1987 with a bang (he he he, bang), all in: Decepticon Graffiti Part 1! Also, today (28/2) is your last chance to enter the TFArchive 30 characters poll, so go over and give Longtooth the love he deserves HERE.

Yes, it's that time again! We wrap up the year of the movie by looking at the Annual with the most iconic stories the hardbacks ever did and the Collected Comics that gave us some added Geoff Senior: 1986 Annual 1986 Collected Comics. After my amazing Transformers: The Movie video (or as I repeatedly call it in this new video, Transformers: The Movies. Why did I think speaking out loud was a good idea?) the first of what will hopefully be an irregular series of videos looking at different, random things set to the same high standard. And because I don't think I've gone on about this quite enough, the first one is on the new Death's Head story! And yes, I am going to do the same joke about production values in every video rather than just adding production values like a sensible person would. Merry Christmas and a happy new year 1987! Jetfire has some vital and important questions to ask, starting with, why does Prowl only ever do anything in James Hill scripts? All in the special seasonal issue (and 100th Transformation!) that is The Gift! Look out for the '86 Annual and Collected Comics entries before next Friday. Reading back on what I've written this week, I'm worried the quality of the story may have actually sent me genuinely mentally ill. If this is your first time on the site, I can only assure you they're not all like this. In the previous ones, I was only pretending to be a crazy. See what affects my state of mind in my look at Heavy Traffic! Part 2. Excitingly, with three Addendums, One Annual, one set of collected comics, the movie adaptation and the poster magazine under my belt, next week will actually be the 100th entry in this series. I may mention that a lot. A special and amazingly put together video looking at the original film. But which mainly mocks Hart to Hart. I wouldn't want to be Lionel Stander in the morning when he reads this. All in The Transformers: The Movie. This week Optimus Prime is a complete cock juggling thunder-cunt as he steals a humans money to force him to do his evil bidding. Meanwhile Circuit Breaker pretends to be proactive in order to impress her new boss and Skids reveals how he likes to be touched. Oh, and some Stunticon stuff. All in: Heavy Traffic! Part 1. There will, all being well, another entry up before next Friday looking at the film itself, but in an effort to be a bit different it will hopefully be another one of my amazing, and amazingly poorly put together, YouTube videos. |
