Addendum 12: Five Faced Fiends.

Nothing to do with the piece, just a picture I like.

So here I am, back from holiday refreshed and invigorated.

Well, I assume so, I'm actually writing this before I go so I can just click "Publish" on Saturday with no messing about. Who knows, maybe it was a terrible holiday. Maybe I've died horribly. Who can say?

Still, let us not dwell on possible negative futures, let's just assume I had a nice time drinking with long time reader Death's Head (yes, I appreciate you all so much I will let you buy me one drink each if you can find me) and watching The Woman in Black (the play, not an actual woman in black).

For today, enjoy my thoughts on Five Faces of Darkness!

It's the single most important issue of Transformers Simon Furman ever wrote, creating the entire origin of the species that has gone on to be the definitive take on their creation.

All that plus a bad ass Wreck-Gar and a sad Smokescreen as well.

Yes, after weeks of talking about it, probably seeming like a crazy man, it's time for what stands a good chance of being the highlight of my year, the James Roberts and Lloyd Young interviews on IDW's Classics UK books!

Just for fun, I've also made a short video pimping the feature that can be seen below. I've no idea why the onscreen captions aren't working, but I've left it as is because it's funnier to see me being so inept.

Legacy of Unicron is a story with so many memorable moments, it's hard for one to stand out above all others, but this week's issue contains the one that will have haunted the dreams of every single reader for a very long time.
