![]() This week, two humans describe what they see in the most dull way possible (what sort of crazy fool would do that with a Transformers story?), Crosscut gets cut up, Blaster broods and Straxus seriously tempts fate not once but twice. ![]() The darkness continues, but interspersed with black comedy as Blaster can't get himself thrown to his death despite all his best efforts. Plus one of the few Budiansky moments that has the potential to make a manly manly man well up, just a little. All in: Return to Cybertron Part 1: The Smelting Pool! Part 2 Also, I've finally gotten around to reworking the Transformation section so that each year now has it's own, very sexy, page. I can't tell you how tedious it was going through each entry to change the links, but it should all be kosher now. He says... ![]() Well, just look at the image of scared and screaming robots. This week I cover the beginning of Uncle Bob's best regarded and darkest story, as we return to Cybertron and see the whole planet has gone to hell. It's a long one this week so buckle up for: Return to Cybertron Part 1: The Smelting Pool! Part 1 ![]() In the last entry before Auto Assembly Megatron and Shockwave do their best impression of attendees on the dance-floor during the Saturday night disco whilst Optimus Prime has a good laugh at their expense, all in: Second Generation! Part 3 Yes, as threatened in the last Transformation entry, I've actually managed to film my very own YouTube video talking about this year's convention.
This video is aimed at people who are going to Auto Assembly for the first time who have been thinking "What I'd like to see is a really badly framed video about the convention from a man who doesn't really know what he's doing and definitely has misjudged where the camera eye is. If there's a groan inducing bad Mike Costa joke and a slightly trippy ending due to him trying to edit out the tablet falling over as well that's just a bonus". That's a select group of people, but I know they exist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gcXe29MMUQ&feature=youtu.be ![]() There's not much in the way of laughs this week as I cover what may well be the worst issue to date, with poor writing, art and colouring. On the other hand, the bit with Mixmaster is brilliant, so just look at the panel to the left and then pretend the rest of the comic didn't happen. Better things await us next week (in time for Auto Assembly), but for now here's my look at: Second Generation! Part 2. |
