But who is the surprise villain? It's all in my look at Death's Head Guest Staring the Transformers Issue 1!
In the week where dear old Leonard Nimoy left us, it's time for me to look at the start of the British Transformers story that kicked off what is effectively the sequel to the first Transformers film he was in.
But who is the surprise villain? It's all in my look at Death's Head Guest Staring the Transformers Issue 1!

So we've finally made it, another 12 months without me having a comedy brain death. Oddly I found it much harder to do three in a week than I did the last two years, I must be getting old. Still, it's Doomsday for Nebulos, Volcano Day for Ultra Magnus and changed ending day for Optimus Prime. Only one of them is going to really enjoy their respective days. All in my looks at: The 1987 Annual! and: The 1987 Collected Comics! It's been the long year of spin-offs, crossovers and volcanoes. Not to mention a teddy bear. I asked you not to mention that. But here we are at the final regular issue of 1987, a Christmas treat with a twist. Be sure to join me on the weekend when I cover the Annual and specials of the year as well. This might just kill me. Issue 145 It's the culmination of the Blaster Vs. Grimlock arc (for now), with both sides playing a cunning tactical game against each other. Oh, and look, the kids are still having hi-hi-hilarious adventures with their teddy. All in my look at issue 144! Next Friday will kick off a run of three entries wrapping up 1987 (though as issue 146 would have spent most of its time on sale in 1987, do I put it after the Annual even though that's the thematically best one to end the year with? That's the sort of question that keeps me up at night). Plus, the James Roberts interview will be coming, I'm just waiting on him to sign off on it. This week, we get the début of Jose Delbo and Sky Lynx. One of these is a genius and the other... well those who read the comments last week will probably be surprised that I'm a lot kinder than you might expect. All in my look at issue 143! My second video in less than a week (curse these Doctor's who don't hang around long enough), looks at the lengthy period when Doctor Who spent his brief screen-time snogging girls and hanging around Albert Square. Marvel at my inability to tell the difference between Comic Relief and Children in Need. No wonder YouTube just advised me my videos are shit. Huzzah! After a year and a half, I've completed my rewatch of the entire original run of Doctor Who. But before I delve into American telemovies and Welsh filming, was the little Scottish guy as good as Peter Jackson thinks? |
