All in my look at:
Target: 2006 Part 3!
Next week's entry will (hopefully) be joined by something that may well become an annual event if it goes down well, the 2013 Christmas Quiz! Which will have actual prizes.
Just not very good ones.

This week things get dark, very dark. Ironhide muses on the decisions that saw the Autobots royally fuck up and Galvatron becomes the only Evil Villain Time Traveller in history not to want to alter history. The scamp. Even as recently as a month ago I was pretty much resigned to the fact that the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who was going to wind up being a bit rubbish. Despite initially being promised “More Who that ever” the Beeb had shown themselves to not actually being very good at making the show resulting in a rather limp half season that seemed to shuffle onto screen in a slightly embarrassed fashion.
Of course, if it had been any good the drastic reduction in the number of episodes wouldn’t have mattered. But whilst it would be unfair to call it a terrible run, and there was only one episode in the Rings of Padding Out The Short Running Time With Endless Singing and Flashbacks to Things That Happened 30 Seconds Ago that I thought was really piss poor, equally there tended to be an distinctly average feeling about the whole thing. Well this is exciting, this week's Transformation, written two days ago, tries to imagine the future when it would be put up on the internet. But here I am, in that future and armed with the knowledge that between the two events I have seen both a Yeti and Jenna Coleman. Guess which I came closer to touching. The mind bending problems of when past meet future are also confronting Cyclonus as I look at: Target: 2006 Part 2. And some PICTURES on Facebook to give a clue as to the the solution of my Yeti riddle. This week, there's some serious toy shilling; the first of only two appearances for Galvatron's handgun mode and the glorious début of Whirl! But whatever you do, don't mention Omega Supreme. I mentioned him, but I think I got away with it. All in: Target: 2006 Part 1! We kick off the BIG Marvel UK story, with intrigue, mystery and a random Arnie impression. Plus Prowl has an accident in the toilets. All in my look at: Target: 2006 Prologue! Happy Halloween (just about)! In keeping with the season, Soundwave plays a trick on Joy Meadows even after she gives him the candy he's after. We also learn from Grim Gram's about his surprising music career. Plus, the set up for an exciting ongoing storyline that will never, ever be mentioned again. All in my look at: In the National Interest Part 4! |
