Is this the end of Optimus Prime? Or like some sort of less alien Noel Edmunds does he have something surprising in his box? It's all in the second deadly dymamic part of my look at: Prey!

Prime gets to kick a lot of arse over this and the next couple of stories. I've got to say, it's a guilty pleasure watching Prime overcome his angst and then realise that, to solve all his problems, he just needs to beat the shit out of something. But then again, I am a fan of Joss Whedon's "Buffy" and "Angel", where characters philosophise for a while before coming to the same conclusion as Marvel Optimus. It's cathartic.

I can see why some might find Jeff's work a little stiff - certainly, his later work in 'The Last Days...' was much more fluid. I just love his precision and detail, though. His work just looks so neat! Sadly, his contribution to Regeneration One #0 wasn't a patch on any of his previous stuff - but then really, on that series, only Guido Guidi has really excelled, in my opinion (actually, Geoff Senior's covers were a real return to form, so fair play there).

What is especially sweet is that Wheeljack isn't just drawn as looking shocked, he's about five times as shocked as any of the other Autobots. It's almost as if he's being sarcastic about it.

Oh, I'm not sure, that'll be something to look out for in future. Transformation does try to placate readers with the promise of free gifts in the next two weeks and a bigger issue 100 though.
