The next week box should just have been a text box stating: THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS.

The "one of us is lying" logic puzzle predates Pyramids of Mars by a long way! The proper name for it is "knights and knaves". It was also used in Labyrinth!

Aye, the non-combining Constructicons weren't released until 1992 as part of the first year of European exclusive Transformers, or G1.5, if you must. 'Desert Island Risks' is just one of the weakest Transformers stories full stop, let alone Earthforce. It's been more interesting pondering why the Decepticons would want to build a standalone version of plodding gestalt Devastator. With most of the gestalts being utter liabilities, I can only think that these things were put into battle to sow terror and keep their enemies busy whilst they went after...whatever..

Heroes never do watch their backs, do they? It makes it easier for lazy writers to do a reversal and have them get captured.
