Another favourite of mine, this two part arc is brillaint. I love all the stuff with Shockwave and Galvatron and how Furman counter-points this undersea tussle with the Firecons and Sparlker Mini-Bots on the beach (what was the American name for the SMBs then?). Lovely Jeff Anderson art too.

I read this story out of sequence discovering it in Collected Comics 14 in a rainy day comics box I found at a Primary School as I was working at. I must confess I did end up swiping it, it so impressed me.

I never notices the colour change between fizzle and sizzle. Odd considering I owned both those minibots.

Been reading the site recently and thought I'd post as I also happen to have a page of original art from this issue! It's the last page, where galvatron throws (fizzle? Sizzle?) into a tree and shockwave ponders bringing megaton back. I like Anderson a lot, I think he's my favourite non-senior marvel artist (barring hitch maybe, though I've less of a nostalgic connection to him).
