Buster Witwicky and the Carwash of Doom Part 1!
Also, if anyone has ever been disappointed in something I've written, I'm prepared to apologise in the same way as Jessie.

A mere week after meeting Bob Budiansky, I am confronted with what is often held up as his worst issue. How will I, the lover of bad puns, react to an issue entirely based around a bad pun? The tension is almost too much to bare in my look at: Buster Witwicky and the Carwash of Doom Part 1! Also, if anyone has ever been disappointed in something I've written, I'm prepared to apologise in the same way as Jessie.

I actually like this story. It's fun and it also spotlights Ratbat's very different approaches of salami slicing and transferring the risk & waste to the other end. He's the sort of person who would set up telesales to annoy people with dead autocalls because it's more efficient that way. * Or push the comics industry from a sale or return model to print to order.

Ratbat is just brilliant isn't he? Certainly as deserving as Shockwave and Blaster of being called Bob's signature character.

Like Tim, I also quite like this story, for most of the same reasons. It's fun, and this is exactly the sort of scheme Ratbat would try.

Yup, chalk up another fan of this story. Its daft, fun and still a thousand times better than the terrible arse the animated show served up. I'm amazed that so many folk quite happily accept the dross the cartoon served up, but when we get similar larks in the comic ITZ TEH WORS THING EVAH!! And Ratbat is absolutely brilliant - a beancounter with his eye on the bottom line whom gets the best of Shockwave. Fantastic.

My own reason for liking this issue less than normal is that the art and lettering are below par. I don’t have a problem with the story being a little silly, though it is depressing to see so many people hypnotised into giving up their fuel and it’s scary to think that the whole scheme almost went national with permanent hypnosis! And I feel really bad for GB Blackrock!
