There's a bunch of crap in Zeta's armory that I tried my darndest to ID for the wiki, but just couldn't figure all of it out on account of Livio's art.

I remain shocked that the "vague blobby sculpture of Unicron's head" will make a return thanks to Barber one day.

Apologies for the late comment, but what is there to say to this, really, apart from to ask the question: Have you seen The Transformers the Movie?

*ahem*

But that's what reading that issue feels like.

All that's left is to reiterate what I've said before. The writing on this is weak, especially compared with what Barber and Roberts are doing at the time. Ramondelli really is the MVP here, and it's a great showcase for his work - just a frustrating one if you read it issue by issue. The best way to appreciate is to read the trade in one sitting with a cup of tea.

And that's all I have to see for now.

This story is over, but the galaxy spanning comic book adventures of the Transformers will continue! And the greatest commenter of all - the Llama God - will return!

I've just read through all this, I bought IDW Collection Vol 2 from James Roberts himself at TF Nation 2022. And this is the first chance I've had to read it. The print is considerably darker than Stu's screenshots. To the extent that just for example it's very hard to identify anything in the armoury at all. Is the Infinity Gauntlet near Hound's head? Congrats to Llama God on his comments through tour, and especially the one above. Rehashing TF The Movie to this extent is simply mental. Letting a digital only comic cover these huge points in the history and the war seems bananas. I know MTMTE better than wider IDW but I assume Autocracy was quietly disowned or treated as somebody's dream, like a modern Marvel UK Earthforce. The art is different but I'm not sure how much I like it. The aforementioned darkness of the printing may be a problem. Thanks Stu as it was great to read these reviews and confirm I wasn't going mad about this bizarre little (but big in historical events) story.
