Yes, after nearly a year, we've arrived at the first big milestone number. So lets party by letting the villains win. All in my look at what may well be the best of these celebratory issues in:

Dinobot Hunt! Conclusion!

And thanks to all of my readers who've put up with me this far. You special, special people.

Hey there, greetings and congratulations from a Polish fan! :D Can't believe that I have been visiting your blog for a whole year now. Really seems like it was just yesterday. O_o But I really enjoy reading your posts, be it here or on the TF Archive. And I will be more than happy, to read them for the next 5-6 years, assuming you won't get bored with it. ;) Keep up the good work!

Apparently even the Robotix are part of the extended Transformers multiverse, now...

Just to say that I love your blog very much! Keep up the good work.

I'm fascinated to see what you make of the likes of Target 2006 etc as it all starts to go epic!

Hello. I have been reading your blog from the very start and look forward to reading it each week (I piggybacked from your shameless self promotion on tfarchive.com where I ramble under name skyquake87) . It is great and I like that you reveiw EVERYTHING - even the letters page :) And I think you deserve a medal for reading Matt And The Cat and Chromobots again. Jesus H Jones they were awful. Do we get to choose what TV show you should watch for your next batch of reviews...? and can I put in a suggestion for Doctor Who and / or Quantum Leap for when you get to Time Wars...? ;)

I would have thought given all the confusion about how time travel works then Red Dwarf might be apropriate for Time Wars.

ive been reading this blog since oooh
october last year at the very least
i remember it was cold and dark and you were still in 1984

or maybe ive been there from the start ( i remember commenting on a star trek tng blu ray review and preferring the vhs version what ever happend to tackeling tng ? )
anyway

oh yes columbo has around 70 episodes
so you may need to switch to star trek tos soon ( 79 episodes ) or star trek tng ( 176 episode hint hint )

prime's or i wil die in the attempt is ludicrously melodramatic in hindsight but this was at a time when prime's death had not become a cliched joke
and the possibility of his demise and not returning was quite real ( its what target 2006 and prey operated on after all )
so it might not be that much melodramatic hyperbole but a credible "threat" at the time anyway

and the next story might be a bit ...odd and as usual a bit too human centered but when taken on its owns hooting star is certainly not the worst of budiansky's offerings the one after that however is not as good

and then he does a complete 180 and redeems himself with the cybertron two parter and completley reinvents the transformers premise
the autobots have lost cybertron is a wasteland the decepticons won

after that budiansky goes a bit ...wibble
he still has occasional flashes off brilliance the scraplet storyline up till the last one at least for example

and megatrons send off is quite a lot more dignified then prime's
the movie adaption is decent too even if the matrix looks like a green coconut ( of doom ! )
but the highs are certainly in the minority compared to the lows

budiansky's last dignified storyline with any sort of sembelance of interest or even so much as trying is the underbase saga and even there its obvious he is running on empty

i dont suppose you can make this a twice a week happening
cause if not we may well be here till 2020
or die in the attempt !

By my calculation it'll take up to late 2018 to do the main plan of all the Marvel UK and Fleetway G2 stuff. Which doesn't seem so bad. I could get another two years out of the Titan and other Annual stuff though. We may all be dead by then though. I've no scans of those though (and no longer have the UK Animated comic in any form, unlike the Fleetway stuff it doesn't seem to be out there online either) so it would become very text heavy.

Finding time for more than one a week regularly would be unlikely, but for the first birthday (Suday 19th May) I'm hoping to knock out the first in an occasional series of supplementary articles. What on? Wait and see.
