We were watching an episode of the 70's Spider-Man TV show. Our TV exploded. We had to get an ancient black and white one out of the loft to watch the end.

No one was hurt (carrying on watching Spider-Man afterwards would have been seriously skewed priorities) and the screen just impoded with a fsssssssssssssssssssssst noise.

At the risk of prempting your final (?) post, I first read the main story in the 1992 Summer Special. It was a shock in itself to get a complete story for a change but it didn't include the annual tale (instead Victory! got another truncated outing) so there was still something missing. Oddly the special's layout would have made perfect sense for including What's In A Name? between the two parts.

Yeah, it's easy to see why it didn't happen, but it's still annoying because dropped plot threads are going to develop into one of Furman's main weaknesses as a writer.

I'm having a hugely Christmassy Christmas this year. Lots of TV and film watching, hats, jumpers and glitter.
