Ancient Relics! Part 4.
As I recover from the Joygasm of meeting Bob Budiansky (of which you can expect to hear a lot more from me in the coming weeks and months), Megatron is having nearly as good a time ripping apart Flint's Maulers. But it's not so jolly for the rest of our cast as their past haunt them, all in my look at:
Ancient Relics! Part 4.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned in previous entries but it's interesting to compare how the humans fare against TFs in this crossover versus the American one with G I Joe - in this they basically wouldn't have stood a chance were it not for the Autobots. Meanwhile, across the pond the humes managed to take out two Transformers.

It also helps that the UK never had a Comics Code Authority and so there was more a publisher could get away with. By the 1990s the US Code was largely ignored so the violence and body counts could be stepped up.

I would pay good money to read the story of those four hanging out in Hull.

I think that's the advantage of such a short (in terms of page count) crossover, with a longer four issue mini series the American take pretty much had to put them on a level playing field or it would have been over before the halfway mark.
